Well, that's it. This year's opera is officially over...and none too soon for us tired performers in it! But it was fun, we all had a blast, and I'm still sad it's over. 3 hours of Asia Choir rehearsal just isn't the same as 3 hours of sitting under a curling iron and a cloud of hairspray before rehearsing for another 3! ^_^.

I was just wondering if anyone on here had a chance to go see "Princess Ida," and for those that did, what did you think? So far we've heard all kinds of good things from everyone, and Carolyn said something about this being our most successful performance in years as far as audience turnout went, but I just wanted to make sure everyone enjoyed it! And I know at least two people in this community went *waves to Steve and Maddie* but I wondered if anyone else had. So what did you guys think?

Oh yay! I'm glad to hear that! Out of curiosity, when did you go? (I'm just wondering whether I should even mention who I played, seeing as the day most people went was my one show off...)

Oh, yay, a Saturday person! (I haven't heard from any of that audience and we were so worried no one liked it because everyone was so quiet!) That just makes me all the happier that you enjoyed it ^_^.

Plus it means you got to see me be Sacharissa, not that I was any good with my like 5 lines total ^_^.;; But yay!

I went on Sunday and enjoyed it. I didn't know what to expect, because it was advertised as an opera but it turned out to be an operetta, so i guess i was surprised at how easy-to-follow it was. I actually didn't know it was a Gilbert and Sullivan piece till i got there. Anyway, job well done.
