Hey guys. I thought I might try a post here in hopes of finding leads to selling my car. ... I have to sell it by Finals Week. So, if you know anyone who's looking for a decent car (a little on the high mileage/old side--but still runs well)... point 'em here:
It's a 1996 Mazda Protege, white... very little rust, actually--and only one particularly angry mark on the back end of the car that was there when I bought it. (the previous owners were rear-ended in a parking lot--the truck that did it also took out a back light, which they had replaced for me)
There's about 99,500 miles on it right now, but I estimate about 100,000 by the end of the semester.
Recently I had the spark plugs replaced, along with some other wires and junk (I don't know the exact details--my head clouds up and my eyes glaze over when dealing with cars) All in all, it was about $400 worth of work. So just to let people know, I've been keeping up with maintainence since I bought it. :D If you really want to know all the details of the work done, I'll dig up the reciepts.
I took out the stereo and put in a CD/MP3 system--I don't know if (or how) the MP3 thing works... but CDs play lovely in it. I'll be leaving that in there since I have no use for it--as I won't have a car for a while after May.
Stick-shift, by the by.
Anyway, Right now I'm lookin' around $2300 for an asking price. I paid $2500 for it, I've only put about 1,000 miles on it, plus put in that CD player. But I'll be willing to negotiate a little. I'm not terribly picky about this one.
So, if you or anyone you know is looking for a car, have them contact me. Call 5865, ask for Margaret.
...Also... I fully admit to sucking with describing cars, so if you're interested, call, and I'll set up a time to let you, or whoever wants to buy it come look at it. :D
